Steve, thanks for creating the thread, that was a very interesting and well written report in Automotive News.
It's interesting to see that GM and Honda are using stair-steps in an effort to claw back market share. It was also interesting to read how complex GM's stair-step rules are - I thought Chrysler had exclusivity on confusing Dealer Cash incentive programs. On a final note, it was great to see another one of the Public Dealer Groups take a stand and air their concerns. There's no question in my opinion that the dealers cannot rely on the NADA to represent their interests. |
