I just had a chance to read the story - that was interesting.
I'm sure the new wraps must be a lot cheaper and easier to use than the old cladding they uses to use. For the most part the wraps seem to work - it is hard to see the body-lines of the vehicle with all the shapes and swirls in the wrap. |

I was driving in suburban Detroit this summer and came across one of those camouflaged new-style Ford Explorers done up just like that. At first, I couldn't figure out for the life of me why someone would dress a car up like that, then it dawned on me that it was a pre-production model and they were most likely trying to keep prying eyes away from it. Funny thing was, had they not done that, it would have blended in with the other cars on the road and I wouldn't have noticed it.
