Which DMS do you recommend?
Hi all - thinking about switching DMS after a long while, but not sure if it's worth the trouble or the expense. Which DMS you use and what does it cost?
Do you get the CRM or the add-ons? We move about 250-300 cars a year. Thanks all for any help - its much appreciated. |

Dealer Track all the way!!!!!!!
I highly recommend Dealer Track. We had it for about 10 years and it just plain worked correctly.
I wouldn't wish ADP Drive on my worst enemy. |

Thanks guys! What were the costs like without a contract?
tnpartsguy, I was looking at ADP so that's good to know - is Dealertrack more experience though? Thanks all! |

We were on Autosoft from 1995 until the 09 bloodbath and our monthly payment when we were done was 525.00 per month. When we started there was no charge to start, I think there may be a small charge now. We got our own equipment and no limit on how many stations were on the system. In my years with 20 groups none of the big systems would do anything more than my system and the difference in cost was substantial. A VERY easy way to move more money to the bottom line.
There is another thread about a dealer that had to go through BK to get rid of his R&R contract, I can't recall the name of the thread but its a good read if you are at a point that you can make a change. I agree avoid ADP or R&R like the plague. Last edited by steve_biegler; 03-14-2014 at 12:21 PM. |

I bumped the BK thread. Look for it on the home page.

We used Auto/Mate for years and I loved it. No Contract, low monthly, about $600 if I remember correctly.
DO NOT go with ADP. |

Dealer Track
For us, Dealer Track was about 1/2 of what we are paying now for ADP.
ADP promised to be cheaper, but once you but all the extras to make it actually work.....it AIN'T |

Sorry to revive a zombie thread -- don't know how I missed it a month back...
For your size I would recommend ACS -- now known as DominionACCESS. It's far from the perfect system, but cost is low, no contract. I'm not a customer of them currently -- left while they were being acquired by Dominion -- but they count many defectors of the big two among their clients. |

AutoSoft or Autosoft Flex is going to work best. It's Under $1,000.00 a month the only add on is Traffic Cop it's CRM tool which is supported by a dedicated team. Take a look have been using the product since 2002 much better then Reynolds and cheaper.
