California Used Car Legislation appears to be gaining momentum
A series of three Bills are making their way through the State of California's Congressional system and may soon end up on the Governor's desk for approval or veto.
The bills are designed to address reported abused by "Buy Here, Pay Here" operations and it's unclear to me whether the proposed laws would apply to all dealers or only those who have a BHPH operation. Here are some of the restrictions that would become law if the Bills are passed:
