Default GM Reports Strong Start for 2008

In a surprising piece of good news from Detroit, a General Motors executive reported that January sales month-to-date are out pacing last year's sales - they're even out pacing 2006.

Granted that 13 days does not provide a good foundation for a full-year prediction, it's still a surprising piece of good news. For the sake of GM and its dealers, let's hope the trend continues.
