Unhappy Crime doesn't pay - Part one......

A former dealership manager has been held for trail on theft charges that stem from the sale of used cars through a consignment operation.

The manager has been accused of misappropriating $248,000 from the proceeds of selling 173 used vehicles.

It's alleged that the manager would ask for cash as a part of each transaction. The owner of the consignment operation indicated that although he did not issue a receipt for the cash payment, he documented each transaction in his accounting books.
