Fourth Quarter Dealer Standards Redesign
I heard that Chrysler's revising their Dealer Standards program again and I'm curious if these changes are viewed as mostly positive of mostly negative?
I'll start this thread in the general section and move it to AREA 51 based on member input. On the plus side it appears that the number of criteria that are being measured will drop from 88 Standards down to 41. On the down side I wonder if the "Bonus Reward Elements" will eventually morph into a program like MPA/VPA where dealers are chasing a sales objective to reach a payment tier. Are the changes positive or negative? |

Why is this thread dead?
Is this thread dead because everyone's tired of talking about Dealer Standards and or is the topic to controversial for the open section of the forum?
I'm betting that it's the former - I get the impression most dealers know which level of Dealer Reward they'll be able to hit and accept the program for what it is. |

The only thing I really know about Dealer Standards is that it makes me thankful to be in Parts.

as we have no input, we just do t care anymore. we wont qualify for anything, and if we did, they'd just bump the qualifiers to keep us from benefitting. not negative, just factual.

That was our attitude the last 6 months of operation. Just not worth screwing with.

I've got about a million hours in the program and can't make it work anymore.

Thanks for the updates.
I guess that explains why the SGS thread in AREA 51 has died off too. Has Dealer Standards turned into a "two-tier" pricing program where metro dealers with newer stores and a strong population base are getting large payments and the rural dealers are getting nothing, or has it turned into a program where none of the dealers are making enough money to warrant the hassles? As before, I can flip this thread to AREA 51 if requested. |
