GM Service Workbench
aka Workbitch.
GM tells me I have to family price all my parts and services, but when I ask that all my filters be costed to me from them 'family' priced, I was told no. I'm a little bit sick of these guys telling ME how to run my business.... My business did fine, it was slow, and we did lay off some folks, but we recieved no 'bailout' and didn't take bankrupcy. We are sitting in a new mulit-million dollar facility that was forced onto us by the General, then they want to come around and tell me to cut profits and do things THEIR way.... Hmmm, their way. 1) Bankrupt an American Icon. 2) Kill off established marquee brands (Pontiac, Saab, and Mr Goodwrench, to name only a few). 3) Give up market share to their rivals every year. I don't think so That said, who's on it, and how are you working it? |

You think thats bad try having your 80 year old business gifted to the guys across town. And to top it off get $0.00 for it, and still own a million dollar building and mortgage that goes along. Oh and did I mention all the parts and tools that we were so nicely given the same amount.
Not saying what you are going through doesn't suck but it could be worse. |
