What's your store doing for Memorial Day?

It's hard to believe that Memorial Day is less than a week away.

In the past it seems that many of the rural stores were closed and provided some time off for their employees but most of the Metro stores were open and planned special sales events.

What's your store doing for Memorial Day?

Are you serious? :)

I guess if the store is closed on Sunday that gives your people a day to rest and gives you some scheduling options so you can staff for a midnight close on Saturday and Monday.

Who knows, with all of the OEMs that are using Stair-step Incentives end of the month "Midnight Madness" sales may become a common occurrence?

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day. :patriot:

For those who had the day off I hope you enjoyed the day and for those who were working I hope you sold enough cars and made enough money to make it worth the effort.

On the local front, I received an email from a Phoenix based Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram Dealer who was open on Memorial Day and was offering:
  • Employee Pricing
  • Discounts up to $13,000
  • Free Tacos
With discounts like that I almost thought it was 2008 again.
