Happy New Years to you all. Keep the faith. As was told to me in what seems like a lifetime ago(2000) by a desk mgr on my 1st day.- "On your way to work today, How many people did you see walking?"

Thanks to everyone here for keeping this place going while I took my mini-vacation from the insanity of the car business.

I know 2010 was a hard year for a lot of people in our industry and I hope 2011 will bring Health and Wealth for all.

To start the year off a friend sent this to me. Supposedly this happened at a Ford dealership in NC! Whether its true or not does not matter. It's the smile on your face that does!

"When my husband and I arrived at an automobile dealership to pick up our car, we were told the keys had been locked in it. We went to the service department and found a mechanic working feverishly to unlock the driver side door. As I watched from the passenger side, I instinctively tried the door handle and discovered that it was unlocked. 'Hey,' I announced to the technician, 'it's open!' His reply: 'I know. I already got that side."

That wasn't a Ford tech, that was a Chrysler corporate rep....
