Hey everyone! I am new to the forum. I was trying to search my question. It didn't know what to search it by. Basically what I am wondering is what you guys think would be the ideal state for selling cars. Basically I am lookin at consistent weather, population, etc. but I'm wondering your guys opinions. I tried searching on google but nothing. Through my own research I found Arizona might be one of the best places to sell. The reason I am looking for a better city to sell in is because I am moving out of Utah and wanting to go somewhere warmer year round. Let me know what you guys think. Just to re say my question, I am looking for the best city to sell cars in your opinion. Thanks!

Thanks for joining the forum and creating the thread - I think it's an awesome question.
In my opinion the answer to your question largely depends on what you're looking for in lifestyle - do you prefer a larger market or a smaller one and would you rather work for a mega-dealer or a smaller private capital dealer? Concerning Arizona, I've lived in the Phoenix area for the past several years and while I definitely prefer it over Seattle, it does get damn hot in the summer. One market you might want to study is Las Vegas - the temperature is a few clicks lower than Phoenix and the market is not over-dealered like a lot of the more established markets when the OEMs had a "more is more" mentality when it came to awarding franchises. Additionally, Nevada is nice because there's no State Income Tax. |
Here in the Midwest the most frequent destination in Florida. I'm not one for really warm weather so I've never considered it, but numerous car people I know have moved to Florida. Some have stayed for a while. Some have been back within a few years.
