Merry christmas and happy new year
I don't mean to offend anyone, but that is my non-pc greeting(I'm a Christian)
As we look back this year has been a tough one on us in the biz, some will recover some will not, and my prayers go out to you all. But we must remember some of us have it harder than other because some have a family member or a friend serving this great country of ours. My heart and prayers go out to you all, I know what it is like to be over seas at this time of year and we need to let them know we say THANK YOU AND WE LOVE YOU. The greatest gift we can give is our prayers and best wishes to ALL WHO ARE SERVING AND TO ALL OF THOSE WHO HAVE SERVED. I suggest that if it fits your Christmas dinner table, give a moment of silence and prayer to our MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN. Also shake a hand and give a warm greeting when passing by in our holiday travels. Again no offense intended to anyone. |
dafuzz - Great message. :)
There's no question this has been a tough year for almost everyone in the retail car business and there are still storm clouds on the horizon. That said, we all still have a lot to be thankful for. To those who have loved ones in the military, please let them know I appreciate their sacrifices and that I include them in my prayers each evening. :patriot: |
Well said, and my wishes for a very Merry Christmas to one and all, may we remember the reason for the season.
This has been a very trying year and for those who have lost so much the thoughts and prayers of me and mine are with you. Here's to a safe, happy and "hopefully" prosperous 2010. |
Merry Christmas to you D-Fuzz! :santa:
I also agree with your view of serving this Country. The boating forum I belong to just took up a collection and one of the guy's went out to Sams Club and bought a bunch of stuff, boxed it up and sent it to some troops we are familiar with in Iraq. :patriot: :beerchug: |
Amen, Fuzz

Merry Christmas
We should be thankful for the brave men and women serving in harms way. They are the ones that make it happen-FREEDOM. |
FUZZ,
The only offense is that you would think that we would take offense to your very thoughtful statement. Merry Christmas to all! Larry Weathers Jr. |
Merry Christmas and a very prosperous 2010 to one and all. I am very grateful that my son's short stint overseas has come to an end and he will be able to join us with his family at our Christmas table this year.
Here's a little prayer I say every day and hope that you all will do the same. "Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen." Once again Merry Christmas to all. Zo |
Fuzz, if anyone takes offense to haveing been greeted "Merry Christmas" then let 'em suffer. I'm a scrooge by nature but I don't begrudge anyone enjoying themselves during this time of the year. We have two sons in the Army and both are doing their duty abroad.

> I've been on duty at Christmas. Safely(?), on a ship. I have the greatest admiration and respect for these young men and women who are giving their all for our good. My grandson is in the Coast Guard, at flight school. Please, pray for and remember these young people at Christmas. And pray that this useless operation wind down quickly so that they are out of harms way. |

Merry Christmas to all reading and writing. This year has been one we'll tell friends, family and grand children about. I wish the tales would have been more upbeat, but history is history I guess once the dust blows over and hopefully we have something left of this country to live in again.
Thank you for putting up with me, everyone has been great. I only wish I could help rather than grumble, but somehow or another but somehow I think we'll all be stronger in some way or another having been sent into this ordeal. Give your kids and wives and significant others a big kiss and a long heartfelt hug...a few times a day. Everyone in our own ego centric worlds know what we're going through and probably feel more powerless than we do. Thank you from me...your families and communities that you all helped to shape in one way or another. I fear next year may bring a lot of the same, but positive attitudes and love of those around us will pull us all through. May God bless you all...us all. |
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone.
I can only imagine how special these holidays will be for those of you who are having your children and grandchildren returning home from serving our country(and the world). |
A Poem on Christmas and Life
Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening by Robert Frost Whose woods these are I think I know. His house is in the village though; He will not see me stopping here To watch his woods fill up with snow. My little horse must think it queer To stop without a farmhouse near Between the woods and frozen lake The darkest evening of the year. He gives his harness bells a shake To ask if there is some mistake. The only other sound’s the sweep Of easy wind and downy flake. The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep. |
