Antioch Chrysler dealership bought for $1.9M
 

A report in the Nashville Business Journal indicates that a former Chrysler dealership in Antioch, TN was purchased from Chrysler Financial for $1.9 Million and will be re-opened as Gary Mathews Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Nashville. For the full report - click here

The report indicated that Chrysler Financial had foreclosed on the property in November, 2009 and the most recent assessed value was $2.9 Million.

I thought the report was interesting because it provides an indication of how the commercial real estate market is performing and the amount of time that transpires between the date a dealership is foreclosed upon and subsequently sold.

This is the Dealer that I mentioned, Nashville Dodge. Horrible location, and with the bad press over their closing and backrupcy, I'm surprised anyone paid that much for it.
