Out here on the West Coast, Chrysler's West Business Center has put together a direct mail piece that is designed to bring customers back to the dealership.
The contention is that 90% of customers do not use the dealership for their service work so a "Nuclear" offer is needed to draw customers back to the dealer's Service Department.
Here's the "Nuclear" offer - all three services for $17.95:
Lube, Oil and Filter
Tire Rotation
23 Point Vehicle InspectionAs a Service Manager, do these promotions work to increase the traffic on you Service Drive? Do these customers tend to purchase additional services, or do they just take advantage of the "Nuclear" offer?
I'd be curious to hear what most Service Manages think?
