Monroe Motor Cars LLC filed suit against General Motors alleging that the manufacturer left the dealership stuck with cars and parts after agreeing to terminate their franchise.
The dispute seems to center around the amount of time it took for GM to complete the termination. The dealership indicates that it was forced to spend extra flooring charges and storage charges due to GM's delays. The dealership and GM entered into the termination agreement in April, 2007.
The damage request was unspecified.

Given the number of dealerships that have recently terminated their franchises with General Motors it would be interesting to know if this is a common complaint or an isolated incident?
