I was intrigued by SD's post and it's been awhile since I reviewed the subject program, so I thought I would check it out. That was a mistake - now I have a headache. :(

Only Chrysler could make a program that should be so simple this complex. The rules are six pages long.

I was reading through the first couple of pages and thought that I had it figured out. Then it started to get foggy. Not only is the employee price different between Five Star and Non-Five Star, it appears the dealer reimbursement is too? (Something about passing along a 1% processing fee?)

I threw in the towel and gave up when I got to the exemption from same-line buying for Hurricane Katrina and Rita victims.

For heaven's sakes, why couldn't they just allow $500 for regular stores and $750 for Five Star and be done with it?

apparently it is a percentage of the amount of the car that vin is for a viper so the percentage is better that the five star deal which is the same across the board on a caliber it would be less...
mystery solved.

That makes sense, but it's still sad that the program has to be so confusing.

Concerning the Viper, didn't that qualify for a $20,000 EP Incentive? I wonder if there were many people that were able to take advantage of that?
