Press and Landry are holding a Dealer Meeting in the West BC

I read an e-mail this morning indicating that Jim Press and Steve Landry will be holding a Dealer Meeting for the West BC Dealers next Friday.

The e-mail indicates that the meeting will review Chrysler's 2009 goals, a preview of future product and details about the Fiat/Chrysler alliance.

My guess is that the real reason for this meeting is the one that's not stated in the e-mail - they need to announce who the new BC Director will be.

The West BC's current Director, Michael Milad, announced that he was leaving Chrysler and the end of this month.

I got a like e-mail this AM as well. SEBC meeting is set for Atlanta the 28th 8:30 - 10:30 AM. a four hour drive each way total eight hour seat time for a two hour meeting:confused:

That sure is short notice for a Dealer Meeting that involves Press and Landry. Something must be happening? :confused:

My bet is that if these meetings only involve the SEBC and the WBC that your BC Director is headed to California.

Granted, that's just speculation on my part, but that's the only explanation that would make sense on why Chrysler's holding two different Dealer Meetings with only one week's notice.

Any other BC receive word of a Dealer Meeting with Press and Landry, or is this a SEBC/WBC exclusive?

You may be correct, but I can't help but think it's for all BC's and about begging dealers to step up and take their allocation for Feb/Mar. Time will tell :confused:

Agreed. I already deleted the dates... but meeting is couple weeks for MA.

Well, I guess they're holding these meetings at all the BCs. So much for my theory... :rolleyes:
