Wow, $30/Hour for a Toyota Technician

I saw a Classified Ad the other day for a Toyota Dealership in Globe, AZ that was looking for a Factory Certified Technician.

Two things surprised me about the ad. First, I didn't know that dealerships were paying $30/Hour. Second, I was surprised to see that the ad wanted the prospective employee to contact the Dealer Principal directly.

Are Toyota Techs really in that high of demand?

40 Technicians in a Lexus store is impressive. What kind of sales volume does the front end do to support a shop that large?
