I just recently discovered the Autoextremist.com website and wanted to share it with the DealershipForum.com community.

The site is perfect for people that follow the Car Business but want to cut through all of the B.S.

The first time I read his site he had a quick piece indicating that Cerberus may not be too happy with their purchase of Chrysler. That was about three weeks before the mainstreet media started running their stories - a define "scoop" on his part.

The current page has the "year in review" and is perfect if you've never had a chance to read his articles and want to get a "flavor" for his style.

I don't know where he gets his information, but he seems to be weeks ahead of what you'll read anywhere else.

You can check out the site at: www.autoextremist.com (http://www.autoextremist.com)

Wow, that's a "bump" - this thread is over a year old. :)

That said, I still read the AutoExtremist on a weekly basis. I always like the "On the Table" section since it tends to be a quick re-cap of what's happening in the industry.

To his credit, the AutoExtremist was one of the first sites I ever read that questioned the motives of Cerberus when they purchased Chrysler.

It's a great site, it's definitely worth checking out.

What a great site! In the world of "I have a computer and internet access I am now a journalist" it is nice to read his rants. Thanks.

I've enjoyed his site - some of his rants are right on. He has the courage to say what needs to be said and he does so in a very direct way.

Ironically, the same day that his thread gets "bumped" on DealershipForum.com is the same day he appears on CNBC. If you've always wondered what Peter DeLorenzo looks like, click here (http://www.cnbc.com/id/15840232?video=1107452195&play=1)

Since I just copied a large portion of text from his site for another post I figured I owed the AutoExtremist (http://www.autoextremist.com/) another plug. :)

This week he has a great re-cap of the struggles that Toyota, Honda and BMW face. I think his commentary about Toyota is right on. He's not just anti-Chrysler, he takes shots at any OEM he feels has lost their vision.
