I read a story the other day that indicated that the NADA is expecting about a 30% decline in attendance at this year's NADA Convention.

Given the current state of the business I would think they would be lucky if they hit that attendance level. When times are tight it's hard to justify the expenditure and it's even more difficult to be away from the dealership.

Is anyone planning to attend? If you've been in the past, was the convention worth the time and money?

Automotive News just ran a story that Adessa Auto Auction will not have a booth at this year's NADA Convention. The company's president cited cost concerns.

A representative for the NADA indicated that the number of Exhibitors is down 25% from last year and Registrations are down 35%. He's expecting a large number of over-the-counter registrations now that Chrysler and GM have received their Bridge Loans from the Treasury.

My guess is that huge flood of over-the-counter registrations won't materialize.

A boating forum I belong to has the same layout as this forum... I simply copy from there and paste here. Easy stuff.
