With all of the gloom and doom associated with the Retail Automotive Sector I thought it was interesting to learn that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has increased their stake in AutoNation to 10%.
Another major shareholder, Eddie Lampert, has increased his holding in the company to 45%. Together, Gates and Lampert own 55% of AutoNation.
