Someone mentioned to me the other day that Chrysler Financial just released their Program Rules on DealerConnect.

What struck me was the comment that the file was 25 pages long. :(

I'm sure that there are probably some great programs that get overlooked simply because there is not enough time in the day to sort through all that data to find the programs that work for your store or your marketplace.

That's really the goal of this website - to simply the complex so that Dealerships can make more money.

So, has anyone read the rules yet? :)

Same stuff-different day. They post "rules" that have been in place since the Dodge Aries. What they "should" do is post changes and rely on the ignorance and laziness of dealership personnel to miss out on income opportunities for themselves and their boss.

If you have read any of my other posts, you might get the impression that I am down on the factories. What I detest is inefficiency. Way too much paperwork and BS.

Bingo - I couldn't agree more.

This site is new and I don't want people to get the impression that I'm anti-factory or anti-Chrysler because I'm not.

That said, some of their actions could drive a person nuts. I just reviewed DealerConnect and noted that there were FOUR e-mails on the first page that were corrections/clarifications to earlier e-mails on Incentive Programs.

How is it possible that a company the size of Chrysler could screw-up and require four different e-mails to re-communicate details about Incentive Programs? That's insane.

Maybe I should be happy - ultimately it will just fuel the growth of this site. :)
