My Formal Introduction

Since I've been posting on this board for a while, I better take some time to put together an introduction.

I work for the corporate branch office of Lithia Motors. With my position, I travel to all of our Store locations and work with General Managers, Office Managers, Parts Managers and Service Managers, so I get to see all of rural America. I've been working for Lithia for four years.

I'm glad to finally see a message board where Dealership and Auto Industry professionals can get together.

I think you hold the distinction of being the very first person to post a response on this forum - it's nice to know a little bit more about you.

It's cool that your position with Lithia provides you with insight on both a regional and franchise basis. I hope that you'll be a regular contributor.

In regards to the forum, it has the potential to be a resource for everyone that works in a dealership - sales, service, parts, etc. With most of the OEMs cutting back on their Field Forces, I would love this site to evolve and become a place where "car people" go to get their questions answered.

That said, the forum's growth has been much slower than I had anticipated - I keep hoping that more of the members will respond to the existing threads.
