$100 Gift Card Drawing

In an effort to reward those that contribute to DealershipForum.com we're offering a $100 Gift Card Drawing for the month of February, 2008.

The rules are simple:

Posting in any existing thread = one entry
Maximum number of entries by posting in different threads = three
Creating a new thread = one entry
Maximum number of entries by creating a new thread = two
Program period: 02-01-08 - 02-29-08
Winner will be drawn from all entries and announced HERE on 03/03/08
Winner will have 48 Hours to claim prize by posting their acknowledgment in this thread
In the event the winner fails to claim the prize within 48 Hours another drawing will be heldIf you want to maximize your chances of winning, simply respond to three existing threads (3 entries) and create two new threads (2 entries) and you're set. (Maximum total entries = 5)

Be sure to check THIS THREAD on 03/03/08 when the winner will be announced. The winner will be able to choose what type of Gift Card he/she wishes to receive.

We appreciate those individuals that take the time to contribute to DealershipForum.com and hope that this will be an incentive for others to contribute with their postings.

I've decided to use the Washington State Lottery's Lotto Game to select the winner of the February $100 Gift Card.

I've calculated the number of entries that each member generated and had the computer issue a random number.

The rules are simple - whoever has the most matches to tonight's (03/03/08) Washington Lotto Drawing wins the $100 Gift Card. In the event of a tie, the member with the most posts wins. In the event of a second tie, the member who joined first will win.

As before, the winner will have 48 hours to claim their prize. If the winner does not claim their prize a second drawing will be held on 03/07/08.

There were only 44 entries and you've got 4 of them - that means that you already you have a 9% chance of winning.

Add to that the fact that a number of members on the list only posted once or twice and never returned to the site, there's a pretty good chance that if you don't win round one that there will be a round two.

Add round one and a possible round two and I'd figure you have about a 18% chance of winning. Better odds than you can get in Las Vegas. :D
