A report in the Nashville Business Journal indicates that a former Chrysler dealership in Antioch, TN was purchased from Chrysler Financial for $1.9 Million and will be re-opened as Gary Mathews Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Nashville. The report indicated that Chrysler Financial had foreclosed on the property in November, 2009 and the most recent assessed value was $2.9 Million.
I thought the report was interesting because it provides an indication of how the commercial real estate market is performing and the amount of time that transpires between the date a dealership is foreclosed upon and subsequently sold.
