View Full Version : Used Car Leasing
I was checking out some cars on Ebay the other day and noted that one of the sellers quoted lease payments for a used car.
It seems like the concept of Used Car Leasing has been around for a long time but I can't say I know of any dealers that have had any success with it.
Anyone out there using a Used Car Leasing program?
Given the discussion about 96 Month Financing and the negative impact it has on the customer's ability to re-enter the market, I wanted to "bump" this thread to see if I can get more information about used car leasing.
I've tried to find the Ebay Ad with the Used Car Lease Quotes but haven't had any luck.
I'll see if I can get someone from the Ebay Community to provide more information.
I guess that there's not much of a market for Used Car Leasing.
I was hoping to find a more recent example of the ad that I found on Ebay about a month ago. The ad listed a used vehicle and had multiple lease payment quotes at the bottom of the ad. The seller was using a finance company that supplied all of the residual and money factor information. The ad looked really good.
I was unable to find a more recent version of the ad and the people on the Ebay forum were not able to assist.
Therefore, I've concluded: Used Car Leasing - the answer to the question that was never asked.

We lease tons of used cars, but it's very much on a case by case basis, we use Market Scan and send a lot of paper to US Bank.

Wow, just hours after I pronounce that Used Car Leasing is dead you let us know that it's working great for your store. That's awesome. :)
So U.S. Bank takes Used Car Leases?
How do you like Market Scan?
Thanks in advance - this is the type of information that will help other dealers across the country sell more cars and make more money.
