I was just getting caught up and had a chance to read the news report.

For a company which says its #1 objective is to repair dealer relations, it seems strange that GM would spend $60K in an effort to defeat pending legislation that's intended to protect dealers.

In my opinion, GM and Chrysler's behavior illustrates why dealers need state laws which protect their investments. Dealers can't always trust their OEM and they can't rely on the NADA to get anything done.
