NEW YORK -- General Motors Co. says an agreement with Tiger Woods that allowed the fallen golf star to have free access to its vehicles is over.

Woods' endorsement contract with GM's Buick brand ended in 2008, but an arrangement remained in place that allowed him to keep several GM loaner vehicles. A spokesman says the arrangement ended on Dec. 31.

Woods has lost a host of endorsement contracts since the Nov. 27 car crash outside his Florida home. The accident triggered allegations of marital infidelity that led him to take a break from professional golf, though the GM spokesman says the vehicle arrangement had been previously scheduled to end on Dec. 31.

USA Today reported GM's decision in a blog post Tuesday.

Poor Tiger now he has to go out and purchase a new GM Vehicle from a dealership, not just take a GM Factory Loaner.

I can't say I feel too bad for Tiger. For a guy who had it all, he sure managed to screw it up.

I wonder what Tiger will drive now that he has to buy his own car. With his bank account I'm betting it will be either a fleet of BMW's or Mercedes.

Every picture of Tiger or his wife that had a GM car in it, was always a buick or a caddy..

Probably had all the $$$ cars elsewhere, but for a guy with all that money, he sure milked that agreement...

I’m sure he can find new endorsement contracts, maybe Viagra, Trojan or a high-end escort service.

Here's a link to a story from the NY Times that includes a picture of GM's last loaner to Tiger - click here (http://wheels.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/01/13/no-more-free-rides-from-gm-for-woods/) (Note the broken window resulting from his wife's "rescue efforts")

I smiled when they made reference to the accident as "the most expensive car crash in history." Truer words have never been spoken.
