Well I have accepted a position with Lotus Cars as the Western US Sales and Marketing Director. I hope that since Lotus is not embroiled in any controversay I can stay on here working for a manufacturer.

I remember seeing that ad in Automotive News. It's great to know that Lotus values your retail experience.

That should be an awesome job - can you tell us what you get to drive? Does it come with snow tires for Colorado? :)

Concerning your continued involvement with the forum, I'll have to consult with all of our Lotus dealers. :rolleyes: To the extent we don't have any Lotus dealers I think it would be great if you continued to be part of our community.

I am really excited about the new position. With the new Evora launching this next month I am going to be jumping in with both feet rather quickly. I am hoping that my experiences on the retail side will allow me to be more effective when dealing with the dealers.

I was considering an application to Schomp BMW as a sales person just to get back in the game. But, then reality hit me square in the face.

Carl - Is there going to be a Lotus dealership opening in the Denver area? Or are you not allowed to talk about future plans?

Actually there is a Lotus dealership in Denver. It also goes by Ferrari of Denver and it is on County Line Road out by Park Meadows mall.

Thanks for the new title. My wife got a kick out of the fact that you changed it. She really thought that that was cool.
